What carpet is used for 12th racing?

Who sells it?

What sizes does it come in, roll widths/lengths cost?

Can it just be laid on a flat concrete floor and raced on?

Advice please for people new too carpet.

You need the Prima Track GT

It comes (well did when we got it - about 2 years ago) in rolls 2m wide and 30m long.

I havn't personally had experience of laying the carpet on a tarmac floor... so i don't know how you'd hold it down.

The suppliers are listed in the BRCA Club Manual - look on the brca site www.brca.org.

Yes as long as the concrete floor is smooth, and if it hasn't been sealed you might want to do that otherwise it would get really dusty really quick.

As per Oli's post all the details are in the club manual for the carpet, any questions re sealing concrete if you PM me I can aim you in the direction of a supplier for that too.

my club's first carpet was donated to my club by richard brandson. Virgin was my club's sponsor and he Had some spare aeroplane carpet. It aint to grippy or to slippy. Just perfect!!! :D
