Nice track, plenty of passing places. Good to have a 180 corner at the end of straight, adds that extra test in to the plan!!

My Novak. have had it 145 days, the warranty is a 120!! cowbags!!

Enjoyed Mr Allens start in the final. Moving from the back into the lead after 7 corners. Good day for Mr rowney once again too in pro stock.

Cheers Pete for letting me run two heats. Will have an extra person to the club soon hopefully. Well run meeting once again.

Nice track again, thanks to all for building, designing and taking it all down again.
Really enjoyed today, obviously,:), I feel I'm starting to get used to this racing idea.

Oh, and Martin, you are supposed to keep the transponder on the car until the END of the race!

Really enjoyed today too, however i've done something to my car & can't for the life in me find out what it is. The back end went so loose, even at low speed. Any ideas?

Nice to see Dave give us a head start too, however 2 to 3 laps would have been better... lol

Back to the thread topic :)

It was a great day on Sunday and I was impressed with the turnout, and thanks as always to the few that do help with the setting up and taking down of the track.

Having only just seen some of the results from the finals, drivers and performances that stand out include :

Ian Slingsby pole and win in the 'C' final (A good run at Stocksbridge at last)

Neil Nutter, 3rd in 'C' final on his debut

Gary Dearing flag to finish win in the 'B' final from third on the grid (well done Gary !)

Andy Sherburn in the Stock 'A' final once again

Mike Mansell , ninth on grid to finishing third in Pro Stock

Me :D TQ and pole in 1:12 (hurrah)

Jason Fox qualifying 7th and finishing 2nd in 1:12 final on his Stocksbridge debut

James Holliday third in 1:12

Scott Soons fourth in 1:12 on his Stocksbridge debut

Oh, you are SO funny gary... good job it did come out 'cos I was way faster and did more laps than you... shame I don't have the printout to prove it tho' ;)

Man I can't believe it.. I kinda thought I'd been having PT issues during the heats so opted for a club tranny in the final... My fault tho', I didn't fit a pin BIG enough to keep it in the shell... DUH!! :o what a divvy..!!

I thought the track layout was absolutely awesome, excellent work guys.. apologies for splitting early tho'... family commitments sadly...

Chris Ratcliffe was test driving the HPI Sprint in the Stock Touring class to sort the car for a potential new racer. The motor was a Trinity Monster , not sure on the cells. Chris was set to win the 'C' final but the cells went flat I think, no idea on the ratio but Chris might reply here. I do like the HPI Sprint , it was always a great car for beginners and racers alike:)

Hope people like the report  Comments welcome ;)

The Sprint managed to burn out in in the final. Found out the ratio is 2.13 on the sprint 1, and something like 2.413. Think we got it sorted now, running on a 87 spur, and going to start low down on the pinions.

Good report Peter yes. The pro stock could have been me from 10th to third, if it had not been for the Novak getting excited with its thermalling again.

Thanks to Charles though. I have the Losi and it were flying at DV on Friday. Just need to find the perfect spot on temp now.
