Hiya Steve... how is the car mate? is it repairable? (or have you seen the light and decided to get an xray...?)

Pete said the track was gonna be a bit more technical this week, was it? and if it was, how come you liked it so much you throttle jockey...!? :D

not sure what has broke, its def something wrong with the 'lecy'. power seems to be getting to the speedo, just no steering or drive. think the RX has gone.

the track was very technical, but i found some really good lines round. had Gary chasing after me all day but managed to keep 1 lap ahead of him. i was looking good for the A final too (there was only 2 heats of 13.5/27 but the A final is still the A final lol)

shame u couldnt of been there Martin, u would of loved the track.

P.s. i will never get rid of the Yokomo! not as long as its beating your Xray anyway! lol

I wasn't even trying either Stevie!:p

Used my new BL system and was absolutely scared of the performance, kept forgetting I also had to brake too, hence some pretty heavy impacts with the track! Its a lot quicker than 27T stock!

Just wait while I get used to it, even Martine could beat me at the mo!

Hate to say it, but u missed a fantastic meeting Mart, i didn't even break anything, even tho we had a kink 2/3rds down the main straight, v bad for people like me who can only see 2 ft in front of the car! Wasn't the same in the corner without u dude!!! lol

I've just posted Sundays results, track was more technical with a couple or more chicanes that favoured the brave :) It was different with lots of variety, a track that rewarded good driving.

Numbers were down a little , I was second on the grid to Dave, Gareth was third for Team SYR, Steve C 7th in qual , Brad Allen 8th in qual with Mardave V12 and John Yarnall making the cut.

I had a good battle most of the day with Mr Wilkes :) Good Fun, and most of the driving I saw was very good indeed, even when the blue flags were waving ;)

It was a debut race for James Bestall with his Schumacher Mi4 with returning visits from Paul Maddison, Michael Lau and Mike Mansell in Pro Stock and Mikey Mansell in Stock Touring.

Vince Formosa debuted his Xray X11 with a much better run to qualify 3rd in 1:12 . Martin Kowalski returned with a Yokomo 1:12 car taking third in the final after a long sabatical from racing.

Thanks to everyone who helped out setting up and taking down the track, it used our entire stock of PVC pipe so that may give an idea of it's nature lol

Report with pics to follow....
