View Full Version : 1/12th members at the AMC shootout

Several of the 1/12th runners turned out for the second round of the AMC shootout at Chesterfield.
All did well with some quality results in a first class field.

Vince (7th) and Chris (8th) made the C final.

Andy just missed out on the C final finishing pole in the D others Charles and Bob also in the D final.
This was a mixed event mod and stock running together.

Changed my car once again BMI is history .XRAY X11 was awsome ran it on the saturday club night for the first time and qualified 6th.Sunday continued had every minute of qualifying and final in all ran 72 mins with out a glich.
If only i could run at Stocksbridge like that. But Im about to break the hoodoo so watch out.
Any one thinking of a 1/12th I can highly recommend the XRAY X11 1/12TH car. Think i have had every car one of the current crop except the Serpent and this is the best one in 4 years.

Thanks for that round up Vincent :) , glad to hear you're happy with your new Xray Looks like everyone had a good meeting and if you can replicate these results at Stocksbridge you'll be flying. I know Chris is very happy with his CRC car now and going well too.

don't suppose u still have the bmi do u, am thinking of buying a 12th n coming racing with u guys

No I could have sold 3 times over ,swopped it for a TC yes you heard a TC going to bring my grand daughter along .

But if your coming sunday email rob gordon he has a spare he might be intreseted in selling.
Also if you look through the for sale ads on race chat TERRY HOLMES had a BMI for sale think he still has it failing those options a guy called stan french at the birtley club has a spare . If interested i could put you in touch with him.

thanks for the info, to be honest i cant make my mind up, was all set for buying a gt10, but do like 12th.
may pop up on sunday for a look anyway, there seems quite a few old faces up there that havnt seem in alot of years.

Haven't seen you for a long time Mr Fox ! I'm sure you haven't changed :) A few of the 1:12 drivers like the 1:10 GT , they get round the track fast enough thats for sure
