I'm thinking of buying a hyper 7 pbs i think they retail at £460.00. is this a good car for the money, or should I be looking at a different make model? my main use for the car is to thrash my mate who has a eb4 and mabe a few comps. can anyone give my some advice. cheers

Great car , good value for the money. Don't be put off by my comments in the rally x sections as you say you're looking to do more "thrashing" than racing.

I have PBS - I like it but it has been a while since I ran it. It is very durable.

We have been testing many of the makes of rally X cars over the winter and have decided for various reasons not least cost and spares availibility to campaign a hyper in this seasons Nationals . All 10 events have now been booked up so if you need any help (should you race at any of these) just shout!
Oh BTW if you had seen the smoothness of Neil Craggs hyper 7 on Sunday when he manged 1 lap more than anyone else in qualifying . ( you would buy one for sure) The only one with 11 laps. check out the whole event http://www.nitrotrucks.com/harpres/ although Neil did not win the final, the track was VERY unpredicatable at the end of the day to say the least!
hope this helps
