Hi all,

I have a couple of R12's and find they are fantastic, except that the belt's are vulnerable to damage, I noticed that the new R12 has been adjusted to solve this problem.

Does anyone know what has been do, I can't justify buying another one so if I can mod mine I'd be happy. Most of the other mod's to the R12 team I have done anyway to my R12 'ordinary' like the alloy hub's alloy mounts front and rear.

I havent changed the CV's as I think the steel ones would be more prone to being bent in a ding, and would add some weight.

I am having some problems with the ride hight on my R12's though, although it's not a major biggy.

If anyone know what the mod's are I would be most interested.

regards

Didier,
Apparently the chassis is different. I would email Schumacher and ask them (their email is on their website). Mind you they may just want you to buy a new chassis instead!!

What does the R12 handle like and what are the downsides? I quite fancy one myself.
Mark.

Al,

Thank you I have all these details, from the Schumacher site, which is why I was asking the question.

Mark,

I have sent a couple of emails to schumacher, and as of yet no reply.

If anyone gets any more details i would be really interested.
