Come on people lets get booked in , we have not got enough to cover the car park charge of "£300" which the club is standing this year:), yet alone the other cost, Toilets, Trophies etc.

This meeting will happen regardless of entries,;) don't leave it to on the day like Broxtowe, I appreciate people are tending to leave things to the last minute, looking at the weather the day before, look at the long weather forecast!, we still have to provide trophies, and if we have low numbers, it is likely, we will have to mix and match with old Trophies:cool: to make up on the day entries rather than have all the same type of Trophies.

Also we have arranged a Food Van, which if I think it will not be a viable day for him cancel him so he can make other arrangements.

So come on get them in, not only for this round:confused: but all the others, otherwise this Series will close for next year:cool:, this Series used to be one of the most premier Series in the UK, others copied some of our Ideas, This years Series is more chilled than any other year, because those people who used to cheat, have moved on to other areas, so all the strict rules have been wavered, we now concentrate on people having fun!.:)

Basically a choice of RP30s or Sorex 32s John, have used both to great effect at Stafford, Both of these also work well at Bedworth if you are thinking of doing that round John.

MikeS

Do you really think I would have said that if the info wasn't there, try looking again - hint bottom of the rules or right above the map ;)

Thought it was only women that never make mistakes so assumed you may have been mistaken.

Are the boxes below that point titled "event meetings .........." not intended to provide this informtion as clearly Stafford is blank ?

Thanks anyway.

Neil

I'd be there & was hoping to enter, but i'm currently waiting on parts for my main car.. I don't fancy entering with my Ansmann ARE-1, so until my bits arrive i'm unable to commit!

if the parts arrive before the weekend (here's hoping) & i get the car put back together in time, what are the chances of me being accepted & allowed to compete if i turned up on the day or early on, on the Saturday? I know i'm only 15 miles away, but i'd hate to drive down that way with my kit & be turned away.

My email address is john.robson49@ntlworld.com sorry about web site I had to shut it down at Christmas due to the person managing it, he did not put protections on it, to prevent un-wanted sex links, being place on the Forum.

The site should be back in it's old format less the Forum shortly.

Anyone wanting Directions either load ST17 4LX or use 52.802262, -2.100695

Anyone turning up on the day will have to fitted in where we can, so if you know you are coming email me as early as possable before the event, Friday evening would be ideal, allows me to sort things, and print info Evelopes out Saturday Afternoon.

Bring the Sun Tan Lotion, it's going to be hot.

what parts are you waiting for

steering yokes & some related parts (top-hats, screws etc) for my TRF415MSX after a prang at Crewe last month. Currently on order via my local shop, however with it being a TRF they have to order the parts direct from Japan (HobbyCo don't keep stocks of TRF bits, so have to order them from Tamiya specially) & there is a 6 week ordering carousel.

I could enter the tournament with my Mi2, but i doubt it's going to pass the scrutineering stage at present.. a couple of pins holding the bulkheads to the chassis tray have sheared off & my only other "suitable" car is my Ansmann ARE-1!

if you need any help / advice with this, let me know. usually a simple mod is all it takes to ask a simple random question on the registration page that a human can answer, but not an automated program - such as "spell the following : Cat" & a box to type the right answer. also the right script helps avoid phpBB if you want to be safe) & doing updates whenever scripts get updated, instead of leaving an old version of the script on the server.
