You have two options - Stand the Speedo on its side or turn the servo through 90deg : http://www.rcracechat.com/forum/index.php?board=61;action=display;threadid=6674

Put the receiver on the top deck.

I mount both my reciever and speedo next to each other on the chassis plate as in instructions, Now i thought this might have caused loads of interference probs however I have had no problems at all to my surprise ;D

i have turned the servo to the 90deg option and put the reciever on top of the servo and then there is loads of space left for your ESC.

Put the receiver on the top deck.

Yep, its safe there and you can take off the top deck AND the antenna AND reciver all in one. Also you won't have to worry about the antenna touching the graphite and get glitching.

Hi friends. greetings from Malta.

If you turn your servo, as in the CGM you shouldn't have a space problem.

I have a fan, Novak XXL receiver, Novak GT7 with big can and still have plenty of space.

Both the receiver and the speedo are mounted upright which gives plenty of space for cool air to find it's way to the fan. The speedo is mounted up against the side of the servo.

Hope it helps.

regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

My servo is in the std position and I have an LRP V7.1 - these take up all the space in front of my motor. The reciever is on the top plate up against the antenna mount. Although I don't like things high up this will have to do for the time being.

I've seen flats in London smaller than my 7.1 :o

The LRP V7.1 is fairly big, I had trouble fitting it in also, so I just mounted my big reciver on the top deck.

I've done the servo mod and now have the receiver on the servo, ESC very close to the centerline and a lot of space to put a fan and lead the air flow to the motor.
