Hi All,

This may be a daft question, but do you need to adjust anything to charge 4 Cell batterys, I am used to using 6 cell batterys and dont want to damage the pack or cause a big bang.

I cant see if there is anything to adjust on the charger for 4 cells.

When I had a Protrak charger when I used to race you had to tell the charger how many cells you were using.

Or does the charger work it out for itself ?

Many thanks

Matt.

Nope, the charger will sort it out for itself. just make sure in the settings, that the Delta/Peak isnt too high, I normaly set to 10Mv.
Done,

I have just run the match setting on a pack of GP 3300's and on the discharge it showed the pack at 2200 Mah at 820 secs on 10 Amp discharge. This seems low to me or is it because they are only a 4 cell pack ?

I have the stealth evo have the mv at 15 and when i use the match setting with 4200's it says they only hold 2000 ish but when charging they take over 4200 after being balanced on a discharge tray. I also find the discharger usless i use it at 5 amps and on a full pack i will stop after 500mah. when charging i use the linear one on a 5amps and it takes about 50mins to fully charge 4200's

The packs get nice and warm - not hot - when they are charged, maybe i am just used to a ProTrak
