I know this applies to most of the current tc's around, but have notices on most of the carpet set-up's for the cyclone tc, they run spacers under the wishbone mounts, usually 1mm sometimes 1.5mm. I was wondering what effect this has over, different top link positions. Also do you lot run spacers on tarmac, as i hant seen many set-up's for tarmac for the TC.
Thanks.

Hi,
I don't know exactly what effect they have but the rule of thumb is that you should always run 1.5mm of spacers under the pivot blocks all round on any track.

From the little that I understand on this area the spacers allow the car to roll into the corners and give better rotation - but less grip.
Large flowing tracks = 2mm under.
Shorter tight tracks = 1mm.
Low grip = 0mm.
I think. But that seems to work for me!
But this also depends on spacers under the inside camber links. Roll centres are something new to me, but seem to work when got right!
