Hi chaps
Just wondering the best way to unglue some mini pins from a set of "much-more" rims. One of the rims has cracked (not so much "much-more" as "not-any-more"!) so I would like to remove the tyre and insert and attach them to a new rim.
Thanks
Andy
It's a TA05 dammit!!
I used to put my tyres into a airtight tub or container with some nail varnish remover in the bottle and leave for around 24 hours. The fumes from the nail varnish remover will soften the glue and you should be able to pull the tyres off the rims. `

What an ingenious solution! Thanks for that...certainly beats boiling them!

Yeah, i also put mine in acetone. Watch out though, some wheel types will melt.

If using acetone only leave in for 8-12 hours or as Danny says the wheels will be no more
I found some wheels were OK after 24 hours and some wheels were definately not OK. I tried it with preglued Sorex tyres and when I tried to take the tyre off, I put my finger through the wheel.
