Aldershot allows F1 cars in with its GT cars
The 4wd F201 however is restricted to rubber tyres similar style to the kit tyres if used in 4wd mode (2wd mode is open tyre)

Hi

Would a classic Tamiya 6 wheel Tyrell be eligible…?

If you want to risk damaging the plastic body and plastic rear wing
That is the only reason my one never got raced.

The 6 wheel Tyrrell P34 is based on the F103 chassis, so tyre choice is open
Shame no one ever done a lexan body kit of the P34, with the later 1977 version being easier to produce that the original 1976 version

There is already a championship for them at Bedworth this year running alonside the GT10s provided they do enough rounds.
Bedworth has always been open to any class that isnt Nitro we ran the Carisma/Recoils last year and had the GT10s down with us racing last year.
We dont run indoors only outdoors summer or winter, we dont run meetings depending on numbers eg if only 10 turn up we still race.

hi bob, john robson has said to me that he will run the meetings if we can cover the cost's i.e toilet rentals plus we are also running it around your meetings as weel so that they don't clash plus it will give the f1 and gt10 drivers more places to run.

I've currently got the choice of two F1's to run, but trying to fit lipos in the F201 is proving problematic. In the 103 it goes straight in no probs, but really to get the F201 up and running. Other than taking out the battery holders, and moving the bodyposts, has anyone tried running lipos in one, and how did you do it?

the f201 forget it mate the lipos will not fit i gave it a go but for the f103 which i race fit's like a dream apart from the length 5mm to long so it best if you use strong tape and leave the battery holders on the side ou

hope to see you racing at stafford with the f1 car
