I could not see a thread for new clubs being announced, so I thought I'd put it here as we are going to be racing touring cars

If you live in Bedford area and keen to start racing, please leave your details via the clubs web site.

Thanks

I wondered why we hadn't seen you for a while at the Kettering Club - good luck in setting up the new Club, perhaps we will be able to set-up some inter Club meetings once you are fully established :)

Haven't been able to get to the club as always seem to be working late on Fridays recently! Yep been busy also with all this new club stuff, looking at securing an outdoor facility sooner than the indoor one, but fingers cross and with some nice PR in the local rag shortly we might be able to secure a venue. Friday's all seem to be fully booked!!!

All I need to do now is look for a new off-road buggy to get dirty ;)

If I can finish early on Friday's I might still try and get up to Kettering. Thanks all the same for giving me back the bug after almost 10 years out of the racing scene...

Hmm, still got my B3 sat in the garage - i should be able to fit a Lipo into that.....

Be interesting if you can get an off-road side up and running, as ours folded due to lack of interest, good job I just can't seem to be able get rid of any of my old stuff, maybe their time just comes round again if you wait long enough - a bit like flares!

Keep an eye out on the site Colin.

Would be good to see some of you dust off the cobwebs from those off-road buggies.

Of course, being a new club it's not going to have all the bells and whistles of a transponder system, but we certainly will be computerised, allbeit with lots of finger pressing!!!

As they say, from small acorns...

We've finally managed to find a location for the new club in Bedfordshire, and what a find! We'll have a track size of 10m x 15m, with plenty of space around this for spectators. The Hall is the Bromham Village Hall and along with this floor space for a great track, the hall has a stage area perfect for the pits and a clear view of the track.

Our first meeting will be on Friday 10 July, doors open at 7.00pm. We look forward to welcoming new members, more details are available from our web site at: http://www.bedsrcmcc.co.uk

After being sent some sample tyres and wheels/inserts from Schumacher, we have undertaken some tests and now how a control tyre/wheel/insert which we will request all members to use. This will provide a level playing field for all drivers.

Club members will be able to purchased discounted sets in due course, more news about prices will follow shortly.

In the mean time, please keep an eye out on our new website for all the latest news about the club.

We've now run 3 meetings and have 10 members already so all is looking good for the club. Amazing the grip levels with the Schumacher control tyres, even on the wooden floor.

There has been some great racing all the way through the field and now we've managed to secure some land to setup an outdoor track for buggies too.

Everything is falling place so if you want to come and race on a Friday indoors then checkout the clubs web site.
