Hi, Please can anyone PM, me as to where I could obtain a dogbone driveshaft for the Hyper 10 car. Does anyone keep these in stock all the time, or is it a special order?

Last night one of our drivers had his driveshaft snapped somehow, so I'm on the lookout for one to fix his car.

thanks

im not going to pm in case any1 else has this prob,

this happens quite a lot, because the dogbones aren't long enough!!! >:( it tends to chew up the end bit, which it touches, unless before each time you race it, you free the dogbones if they get caught.(so basically every time you pick it up)
what i do is put a piece of paper or rubber band to pad either side of the dogbone, so it stays in the middle.

cml stock them, although you'll need to get a shop to order it because cml dont sell direct.

hope my advice has helped, because when you get the new dogbone, you dont want it to snap again!!!(or whoever owns the hyper 10!)

kitchen roll is poor it will compress and not expand. i have said the best thing to use and other posters should use this method!

Ah, the old Tamiya trick with the 'o' ring.

The car was stood on by an adult marshall and somehow the driveshaft was snapped clean. Not sure if there was any wear or binding prior to this, but thanks for the tip.

It's not my car, but from what's been said here it sounds like there's quite a bit of 'float' present. When he get's the new one's I'll make sure it's nicely cushioned, thanks for the tip!
