ive just got some new bevel gears, do they need to be 'seated' or 'run-in'? what is the best way to do it?

Yep, just done this with mine. I did mine by putting motor in the car and conecting the LRP Pulsar charger to it and running it on the motor run in mode and left it running for about half an hour. If you don't have this facility then you'll need to put the radio gear in as well and turn the motor over using the trim on the transmitter. Starting slowly and increasing the speed.

i do have a pulsar, what voltage('s?) did you use? ill be using an old stock for this, if that makes any difference.

Thats great advice, the pulsar starts at 2volts you can start from there, just the other night my mate had a prob with a spur gear and the pulsar was great to sort running the motor on the drive train while racing was going on, no interferance to all the others ;D thumbs up for the pulsar, also you can see the amps you are drawing hence if you remember or note down you can test your gear, but still spread a little lube on the cogs but if its genuine gear you should have no problem....Ian
