Losi XXX BK2 Steering

Hi,

I've got an issue with my BK2, I can't get the steering to have equal throw. It's not the settings on my radio, so I'm assuming it's the servo or linkages? It gets full lock right but only about 3/4 left, is it a case of adjusting the linkages?

It's been a while since I raced a Losi, but if I remember rightly you have to off set the servo horn. From the sounds of things you need to mount the servo horn at 1 o'clock rather than 12 o'clock which should give equal lock both ways.

You need to make sure that both of your steering arms are the same length, making the wheels parallel to each other or with a slight amount of toe in. The manual normally gives you a scale drawing to measure these against.

The only other link to check would be the one running from the servo horn, I think the length of this one varies depending on the servo you are running, again the manual is the place to check. Try the manufacturers website, or their uk distributor if you don't have on.
