Hi. I am hoping to make my long-awaited debut at Trowse for Rd 1 of the Keller GP... anything different from the normal racing that I should know about??
Also...do I need to be a menber of the BRCA??? And do I need to put numbering on the bodyshells??
Thank you

Racing in the gp will be same as usual, qualifying and finals, dont worry you'll pick it up as you go. You don't need to be a BRCA member to run at our club but if you race at other clubs you may need to be, so the choice is yours. As for race nos etc, all you will need to do is make a hole in your bodyshell to take a hand out transponder( this could be done on the night if your unsure where to put it).

Part worn minipins no problem just ask (I am usually one of the last to arrive and usually pit near the door)

Don't worry...I'll find you! Now, this transponder thing? How big a hole are we talking about? And do I need to secure it in the car somehow?

We'll make the hole for the transponder on the night, there is no 100% rule as to where to place it so we'll take a look at your car and bodyshell and decide where is best on the night.

I made a little poster for the series. Maybe it will attract more people to the club :).

That's the one! The one with the huge XRAY magnet in it!!! In fact, if someone is missing a bit of carbon chassis, I have it! It was lodged embedded in the rear of my tub!!

Don't apologise....the one good thing about Tamiya box-standard tub chassis cars is that everything is made of bendy plastic! Ideal for someone of my ability!!! And, if I collect enough bits of XRAY chassis....maybe I could scratch builld my own!!!

Hi Guys,
Andrew is in the US on a school trip and with Easter and round 2 of the STCC wont be back at the club til the end of April, I see the series results are online but anyone got a list of the Trophy winners?

Ahh as I thought instead of the usual F1, F2, F3 etc. its all change once more.
If I was a suspicious person I'd be getting annoyed at constantly missing out on trophys as series are altered from the usual.

I think you'll find that the driver gradings are only decided once a year. The GP was just an intermediate series run for fun and to add interest, and was said to be run/scored in reedy format from the off. We'll have to wait for the winter series for gradings/big trophys:D
