racing next friday?

hi there everyone, just a quick question about weather there will be racing next friday as the championship is now over? and what about the next couple of fridays? :confused:

I think you'll find we're all there - it's the championship prize giving that night ;)

the format of racing at the Club is the same every week, regardless of whether or not a Championship is running. The only difference with the championships is that points are scored each week for the duration of the series, which then go to award trophies to the winners from each formula and also to give all the drivers an "ability" rating relative to their fellow drivers. The ability rating is then what we use each week to sort the qualifying heats for the night - that way you are always racing against people of a similar abilty - so you can have a good race.

thanks for that, regarding the ability rating so the better you do each week the higher classyou become placed in, as i am currently racing class d at the mo and won it on friday and was wondering what it takes to move up a class

that's what qualifying is all about - you are not racing in the first two qualifyers, just trying to see how many laps you can get in 3 mins. It's those results that then sort you into finals placings, so the better you do in qualifying, the higher a final you will be in.
