Can anyone suggest a good basis for a dirt setup (e.g tiverton)? Also when setup sheets are saying pistons are drilled what are they getting drilled out by in terms of size.

Ian,

Drilling the pistons is more to do with having some of the 3 piston holes at differnet sizes to the others. Have a read through the FAQ at the top of this section of a detailed answer. (think its about the 6th question)

as for a tiverton setup, the car is designed and tested on dirt, if you have a xxx-4G+ then try the setup described in the manual. it would be a good starting point. also in the FAQ is a link to the setups on the Losi site, if you dont have the g+ manual you can get the setup from there.
