Translation from CS manufacturer site:
Here the first picture of the new CAT 4WD-Offroad prototype of Schumacher, freshly of the toys fair. Planned extradition: middle 2004
In the detail, very much was changed:
- new reinforced wings
- Wheel carrier with large warehouses
- new mute geometry
- superleichtgängiger strap drive similarly in the MI2
Sorry about the translation! ;) 8)

I like the idea of having warehouses....

Mute geometry is pretty good - it just stays quiet and gets on with the job ;)
take out the drivetrain and your almost back to the original '94 Cat 2000, which i still use now indoors and it still takes some beating. ;)
The Mi2 has all the cells on the one side, yet the buggy still has them split, why? Surely the way they are positioned in the Mi2 is for equal weight distribution? wouldnt the same apply to the cat.

May depend on which transmission they end up using. This pic shows the origional Mission transmission. The Mi 2 transmission would move the motor further out, not sure how that would work.

There is a view to trying th car with both chassis layouts. This way was seen as the best way to start. There are still a number of changes we are hoping to run, but the car is nothing lik the CAT 2000/ 8)

There was also something on show at Nurnberg called the RallyGame

Maybe the cells are split to help the left/right balance when the car is jumping? Or to give more steering?

Is there a new design of shell planned?
There isn't in my opinion a good looking 4wd car out there, not since the Cat 2000 e.c at least!
If there is are there any pics about?
Cheers

At the moment the car is running with a 'modified' Cat 3000 shell. With regards to pictures, the arent any of the car as of yet, as there is still development to be done.

Anyone have a date for the release?
Any chance it would be out by June?
I would be grateful if anyone can give me a rough idea as it would determine if i get one of these for my project or get a second hand 3000.
Thanks ;D

Ok then, nothing confirmed yet. I'll think i'll wait anyway for this new one, i'll have to put my other plans on hold.
I have a rather strange question about the new CAT, and doubt anyone could answer. Are the inner dimensions of the wishbones the same as the Menace?
I would be very grateful for any help or ideas,
thanks

Looks like RRCI answered my question, it says in the latest issue that the CAT will be using suspension components from the Menace.
Would it be possible for anyone to confirm this?
Thanks :D
