Now that the Mi2's are out and about - can anyone tell me what I will be able to keep as spares from my Mission?

Also, are anybits transferable from Mi2 to Mission??

There should be another thread about this somewhere.

However, Shocks, hex's, bumper, bearings. Diff internals. Diff pully should fit, but the new ones are better, same goes for the outdrives. Driveshafts also fit, so if you hav eaftermarket ones then these may be worth keeping. If you are still using std ones then don't bother, as the new ones are better.

There really aren't many parts that can be transfered.

I have thinks like the RW spur (and mounting part) and RW diffs - do these fit.

And finally the one way?

Spur, yes - needs adaptor, but it is a new one, not the same as the mission.

Diffs. I think they can be made to fit, but don't think it is worth it. The belt spacing has changed. I think to use the rear you need to use a 3mm belt as the std one runs off the edge. Hence i don't think it is worth it.

One way, I have been told that it should be possible, but i'm not convinced. I sold my old one-way so i haven't got one to try. If you flip it over then the one-way action is the wrong way round. I don't think there is any way to make it work without serious modifications, hence i would say again it isn't worth trying.

Hence i didn't include any of these bits on the origional list ;)

Already on back order with my one way diff ;)

i dont think many parts from the mission fit the mi2.....i rekon that schumacher would have thaught about it before building the mi2, cos if u could put parts from the mi2 onto the mission 2 make it better....not as many people would buy the mi2! same the other way...putting mission parts onto the mi2....schumacher probably want you to buy more stuff.... ;)

No, Schumacher have always tried to use parts from the previous kit, the Mission uses bits that fit the SST 99!!

They have totally redesigned everything for the Mi2 to make it the best car they can.
