can you convert a xxxs to a xxx4 and vise verse

not really, there are very few parts that are interchangeable. these parts are mostly diff. and drive gears etc but..
they have different
chassis
wishbones
hub carriers (front/back)
sput gear/slipper unit
belt
shocks
shock towers
body
driveshafts

the list is almost the whole car.

hi guys,
would all the xxx-4 parts fit on a xxx-s chassis, because is'nt the xxx-s chassis shorter that the xxx-4, so if you could put all your buggy parts on a xxx-s you could basically have your xxx-4 with a much shorter wheelbase??? i dont know if that would be of any benifit though.....

that would work, but I don't think the short chassis would help, more of a hinderance.
