the shop who said 9th (today) has now been updated to 16th Feb

Should be. I think some were shipped on Friday.

EDIT: In fact one of the larger shops in the UK has them listed on their site as "In stock" with the S1 kits expected next week (16th).

My LHS in Stevenage has 4 Mi2 Carbons sitting on the shelf!!, had a look in the box today on the way home from work, Ooooo I was drooling I can tell you, £220 I think was the price.
