Hi,

Is this right,

When i don't have the motor in my schumacher mission, when i turn one of the rear wheels all of them should turn. I thought that if the motor wasn't in and you rotated one of the back wheels only the opposite rear wheel should turn and it should turn the opposite way. At the moment when i turn the back wheel it turns all four wheels in the same direction as the one i am moving. I don't think this is right? If not can you please help me to stop this problem

Thank you

Jack Varty

Without the motor in the drivetrain will be at it's free'est.

Now because there is very little resistance in the drivetrain then yesif you turn one wheel all the others may turn. The only way to check a diff is running smooth is to have the motor and the spur in, giving the resistance, and then turn the back wheel, if it still turns all 3 wheels then the diff is far too tight and should be looked at. People have their diff set to different levels of stiffness, but for me I like to be able to hold the car in one hand and turn a rear wheel (with the opposite turning in the opp direction) just using 1 finger. There is a fine line between getting it smooth and it slipping.

Hope that helps
