As the subject title says, the Ashby Woulds Model Car Club has from this weekend droped its stock motor only rule for the 12th class. This means that anyone wishing to race a 12th car with four cells in any of the remaining four dates indoors are more than welcome to do so, two of those remaining four meetings are rounds of the BRM championship but even though four cell cars can take part they will not be given championship pionts.
The club already has seven or eight regular six cell racers but the club has been asked a number of times if racers could use four cells cars hence the change to follow the BRCA rules. Please note only BRCA approved odourless addative is permitted.
Next winters championship will be open to any BRCA legal car i.e. four cell mod or six cell 27t EB stock.
The remaining indoor dates are:
15th, 22nd and 29th* feb plus 14th* March
Doors open at 12.
*BRM championship round.
