Hi,

I have only been racing for one year, so I am new to 'setting up' cars.
Last season I ran a Mission, then a Mi2... with regular A-final finishes (pleased with that for my first season!).
For this season (which starts in 2 weeks) I have bought a secondhand, but unused T2 '007.

Our track is carpet, and fairly tight with 9 to 10 second laps being the norm.
I will be running 13.5 brushless and Lipo.

The car is set up straight out of the book (carpet set-up), with the front one-way.

Anyway... My question is this...
As the kit doesn't come with anti-roll bars, would you advise getting them and fitting them from the outset, or run the car first and only fit them if needed?

Alright Mike ;) i didnt run any on mine last season the only thing i did different to the book set up was drop the front shock in one hole after my first run and didnt touch it for the rest of the season. Worked well for me as you saw :p

Hi Adam,

Cool, I'll save my cash then... Your car looked like it was on rails:eek: (partly the reason I bought one!).
I was wondering about the anti-roll bars because Tim runs them on the front and back.

Thanks, im really looking forward to this season ive missed it since you guys went outdoors :'( but i wish id brought one earlier than i did  lol
Im not really sure about roll bars i did run them a few times on my old TC3 but that was on foams before we went to rubber and ive never run them. If you want to try them my car came with a pair of roll bars so if you do fancy trying them you can use mine
