looking at getting new set of 30c lipos for the stcc. The trackpower 3600s fit fine but does anyone know whether the Orion 3800s fit as i would prefer to get them fron previous experience.

Any help would be appreciated?

Hi Matt. I think they fit! If you find Steve Lissamore at the track (he does attend STCC meetings) he can show you! I believe he is running the Orion 3800s!

not sure which one i use but mine fits in perfectly. But not sure if mines a 3600. The only down side to it is having to try and find space for about 250g of wieght to get it upto the 1500g for this saturday at halifax. However looking at the forcast may be better with a boat :):)

Hi Matt, don't know what you mean by tray. But the 3800s fit in the car perfectly without the need to mod anything, other than filing a little off the rear threaded top deck insert. I use a lump of Ali that holds the cells in and doubles as ballast but there is no reason why you couldn't use the kit battery strap or cell tape to hold them in.
