Not according to all the talk on myTSN.

There is a new 1/18th micro touring car which is to be released in time for Christmas.

Andreas Myrberg finished 6th in the Japanese TC champs with the only belt drive car in the A-final. I don't think Mario and the guys are all that bothered about a lack of competitiveness.

To be honest i doubt it, what was it about a month ago when they started marketing the M18 due for release around christmas, so that means they shudda started advertisin it about the same time as the m18

Well this was posted my Mario Hudy today on MyTSN:

"In the 2004 there will be for sure NO shaft drive touring car from Xray. The current T1 EVO2 is such great working that there is no need for shaft, but rather focus on the car and learn all its small details that give you the pace. The other guys do not win races because of the shaft, but because they know their car perfectly and get utilize their advantage of knowing the small tricks that make the winner at the end.
You can make sure XRAY will continue for R&D, testing and developing new stuff and to provide only the best to the customers."

Now I know that he is bound to say things like this, but it is a bit strong.
