Hello everyone, here is some useful info for anybody attending the STCC Round 7 on Sept 23rd.
Nothing has changed from previous years.
Sorry guys but we are unable to provide over-night camping at our track. There is a camping site about 5 minutes drive away,http://www.colchestercamping.co.uk/
And the nearest travelodge is only 1/2 mile(but on the A12 north bound carriageway)http://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_h...hesterFeering.
For people with 'Sat-nav' the nearest postcode to us is CO5 9EZ.
Any other info is available from our club website.
http://www.colchestermodelcarclub.com/
There will be open 'timed' practice available on the saturday before(2oth Sept)from 9.00am until 4.00pm.
I know that many clubs dont charge for practicing on Saturdays but due to our planning conditions and arrangements with our landlord,we have to 'oil some palms' so to cover the costs of running practice there will be a £3.00 charge for the day per person, payable at the race-control.This has caused some 'comments' in previous years but there is nothing we can do about it.
Generators will be allowed but please be thoughtful of other racers.
When entering or leaving the track our 'lane' is a bit bumpy so please drive slowly.
If i think of anything else i'll add it here.
We look forward to seeing you and keep fingers crossed for good weather.
Thanks Paul Bellinger (Club sec.);)
