i have the TC3 factory and was wondering what to set the droop to?
I run on carpet and shiny floor so i would like to have something to do both
Thanks

David,
I would use the standard setting in the manual and see how that works for you as a starting point on both surfaces. IMHO changing the droop is only something you would do as a really seasoned racer once the car is fully tuned in all other aspects - although others may disagree ;)
PS - can you please change you signature line to remove the graphic and only have a single line - as required in Rule 5b.
Thanks.

I don't really bother with droop unless my car starts to roll. (Like on carpet with grippy tires and additive)
The out of the box settings are always a good idea to start with.
all i do is have a 2mm drop, when the car is sat, lift the back or front up, and adjust till it drops around 2-3mm, then use thee droop guage and set the other side the same.
Then onto the front, It wont be the same on the guage so check the 2mm drop by eye first
Remember to do this after you have set the ride height! and that is good only for that combination of wheel and tyre, check whenever you change!

Me thinks it will depend on how the rest of the car is set up, how you drive and on which surface you are running on. I run 5 on the front and 7 on the back - with internal shock limiters - on carpet. Any more and I start to lose traction.
yes but try that with smaller diameter tyres, then you have to lift the ride height, reducing thhe actual droop the car has! The your droop readings on your gauge are useless!
Same if you use larger diameter, but you would have more droop in this case! and if you dont loosen the droop screws, you end up with the shocks preloaded!! :P
