Hi all,
just getting into mod racing in a 2wd buggy oudours and have been told to try a 12x2 by most of the drivers at the track. I was looking at BRM 12x2 but thought it was a little to pricy for my first mod. Any ideas for a motor(12x2) in the £30-40 range.
Thanks in advance
Chris

Orion Pro BB. Not 100% sure if they do a 12x2, although i am fairly sure they do a 12x3.
Yeah they do, some one was using one last night at my club, very quick!

Yes they are extemely quick, i ran a Orion Pro BB 14X2 and it was extremely fast so a 12turn should be excellent, just my 2 cents

Another vote for Orion Pro BB here - used the 12x3 in TC and 1.12th and it is cracking value for money. I don't think they do a 12x2, but the 12x3 is very easy to drive and should suit your 2WD well.
Don't try to gear too high though, they seem to go better on a lower ratio than you might expect. If you gear to use all the battery capacity, they seem to die on the performance front. HTH. :)

i'll second that PDW. if ure nice to them in ure buggy they'll b nice to u.
its always better to have some capacity left than a nakered motor.
