2008 F1 Builders Cup Sept. 20

Just letting everyone know that the 2nd annual Builders Cup for F1 will be at Primetime Hobbies in Calhoun, GA USA this September 20-21st.
The invitation teams for this year will be Hyperdrive, (current champ) MLP, Alpha, RCIndycars, Corally, NIKKO, and possibly Corally. We are hoping HPI will return to better the 2nd place finish from last year. Once again it will be two car teams with two drivers for overall score. This year though the cup class will be 4-cell mod only.
Other classes open to all will be F1 6-cell, F1 4-cell, and Tamiya F103 spec class to prepare those cars for the TCS race coming in 2009. I'll keep everyone posted on this.

These are the current drivers that I have info on for the Builders Cup race coming in September

Alpha, Serdar Atymiz and Skip (I can never remember his last name) But I'll get it.
Hyperdrive, Chris Cooper and Gregg B.
CRC, Randy Bailey, Josh Aslinger
HPI, Chad Sharp, Nick Clark.
Kyosho, Ed Weaver, 2nd driver TBA
MLP, Marty Peterson, 2nd TBA
Nikko, Richard Hall, no 2nd
Associated, Dexter Gardenhire, Shaun Mac

No word yet on Corally but Alphacat is talking to them now along with RCIndycars on who will be representing them. I'll continue updates as they come in.

Only two days left (this Saturday) until the race. Can't wait to send the results here. :)
