BTCC entries!!!

I dont know if anyone is interested in this but I thought it would be useful if the clubs involved could post regular updates regarding the numbers of entries for each class of racing entered in each round.

Bedworth still has plenty of spaces and i will keep you informed as it gets booked up.
Can i ask what happend to all the people screeming and shouting about the big 6 class being droped ? there was about 15 to 20 going to do it and iv had 2 entries, if there isnt enough of you it wont have a heat (6 min i think).
Funny how the loudest to complain are the last to do anything.

Dont worry Bob, you will get your 6 entries, I have just sent mine all off, all nine rounds, unfortunately I didnt get paid until 30th Jan so had to hold back the entries.

You worry too much Bob, there is still plenty of time and as you said there are still plenty of spaces left and I assume this means for all classes. And thanks for your prompt return of Belinda's entry we are very much looking forward to coming and seeing you on the 11th April and seeing the improvements to to the track, we had a great day last year.

Told you not to worry Bob. How does this compare with past years Bob, regarding the large number of Stock racers? From memory the modified class was normally higher on numbers, but last year there seemed to be a shift and if your entries keep coming in at that rate then stock will be a very high proportion of the btcc crowd. I wonder if any other clubs are seeing the same proportion of entries in each class.

Yes i would say stock and 19t are up and modified down, do brushless we only have 4 so you could do well in the championship, eg can i have sponcership please i finished 4th in the BTCC in 2004, just dont mention which class ;D

Looking forward to seeing all the crew at Bedworth in April. First round of the championship on a brand new track should be really good. Hope the BIG6 tyres like the surface. Lets go racing!

i and a few people i know are doing the btcc and we have not yeat got our ashby reply forms. even though they were sent off the same week the entry form was released. seems strange i have cot confirmation of every other round im takingpart in except ashby ???

Just got an email from Joan at Ashby, she is very busy at the moment preparing for TORC, and should be sending out confirmations for the BTCC in a few weeks.

Bedworth entries, Big 6 full 8 entries, 27t 51 entries 9 spaces left, 19t 31 entries 9 left, modified 16 entries 4 left.
This would make 13 heats.
Any one wishing to do Bedworths summer series on the 4th April for practice (new track) will have to pre book as this meeting looks like it will be full going by enquiries.

That is amazing Bob, last year I would never have believed that Modified would lose so many people to stock and 19 turn. I would love to know why people have changed. Thanks for posting your entry figures Bob.

As the team from North Norfolk Model Racing Club is going to be bigger this season we are hiring a 15 seater minibus and our sponsor is providing a van for equipment. Bedworth BTCC.
27t in now full with a reserve list in operation, 6 heats.
19t 5 spaces left, 35 booked in.
Mod 1 space left, 19 booked in.
Big 6 full 8 booked in, 1 heat.
This is 13 heats (1 more than recomended by Schumacher)but like last year i am thinking about doing 14 heats, will have to clear it with Schumacer first, and no grumbling from drivers that we dont have a break at Bedworth.
Is it the new track or do you all love us so much here (all those that said its the food get an extra lap).
Let me know your thought on the extra heat.

well i must say that after bedworth ran 14 heat comfortably last year (due to very slick orginisation from bob and the bedworth team).

Have had the go ahead to run 14 heats if necesary from the big man at Schumacher, i will try to acomodate everyone in the 13 heats first from cancelations.

Bedworths BTCC is now full in all classes, if you wish to go on the reserve list for any class please email or PM me with the class you want to do and a phone no where you can be contacted if a space comes up (if you use a answer machine i will go to the next on the list ) i find people can take days to reply to mesages on answer machines.

I would like to do the BTCC, but currently cannot commit my weekends more than a couple of weeks in advance. I would do modified, but it looks like Bedworth is now out for me.

This year I expected to see the 19t class with more support than the 27t stock.

19t is not far off stock at Bedworth 4 heats compared to 6 stock and about 4on reserve list, only 2 heats last year.

We are about to send off our entries - but thought i'd ask now to see if theres any entry space left

Sorry about it being so late but i had to wait for my exam timetable to come out before sending the entries off

Would like to do Stock at Bedworth, Aldershot, Snetterton, WLRC. I know at least two of those are full, but how long are the current waiting lists (ie how likely is it we will get in??)
