Well I for one really enjoyed todays racing. I've never seen such big pinions or such small spur gears! (not in the car at the same time anyway)
The covered pits were a fantastic bonus, the weather held out and the people who ran the cafe on site were extremely helpful, where else can you get food delivered to your pitting area!
Perhaps we could consider moving some of the marshal points and put points 9 & 10 into the middle islands (bit like Bedworth, Aldershot, Colchester......) which would avoid marshalls having to cross 2 live tracks in order to reach cars - some of us have forgotten our green cross code!
A great day out with particular thanks to Andy for running race control and doing the scrutineering.......I really think we should all have helped with the scrutineering!
See you all again soon

I'll second that one Cam, top day's racing, very close indeed, some of the best racing that I have ever had today, congrats to Vince for the win in the C final.
I for one would love to come back to Brooklands, good facilities top grub and fast clean racing 20/20 mike good choice of circuit.
Yep,great track,good facilities,fair weather.
Shame about my quali though.:(
Made up for it with great race with Malc in Final.Made my day.Cheers Malc.:p

Can only re-iterate the comments made above, was an absolute blast for the weekend for myself and Charlie. Other than a problem that cost me finishing two of my finals (leads de-soldering themselves !) I had a great time.
I think this is probably one of the quickest tracks I'll get a chance to race on, and 6.5/Lipo is a genius idea !!

Brief report on the meeting is now online at CentralBooking. And I have to say a great thankyou to Andy and Aaron who did a huge amount of work on the Sunday supporting you all behind the scenes providing unstinted backup, and especially to Andy who has also completed the results and updates to the Individual and Club championships, which are all now online.
Next year, Brooklands...... I think I got the message ;)
Great track and facilities, wish I could have actually had more time on track ;)
Definately one for next year though, superb !!

just to echo the comments above, it has to be back to brooklands next year.
like paul I did not do as well in qualy as i would have liked, but then the finals were all awesome, nice close racing in all of the finals, i overtook a few cars and got overtaken a few times in each final, but it was all close and very fair racing.
i think the long straight leads itself to good racing, so although qualyfying there may not be as enjoyable as at other tracks it does lead on to MUCH better finals and at the STCC we have 3 of them and it is what all the points are decided by.
as well as a great track all the other facilities at brooklands are top notch, and as usual the meeting was smoothly run

Thanks to all involved as always. It was a brilliant final meeting for me to attend and I really enjoyed watching some of the racing. Big straights make for big crashes!
Well done Jason for the triple win in TC3. 416 looks good!
Best of luck to you all for the rest of the year.
I'm sure I'll see you all around. Probably at Brookland's next year.
;)
Regards
Richard.

***** 5 Stars say's it all what a great day even with my gearing mistakes all day lol. Why are there not more meetings at Brooklands? After the STCC visiting there I'm sure there will be.
Big smiles all day and no arguements, good food and a waiter lol, excellently run meeting with no hitches.
Big pinions, small spurs, lots of help from whoever you asked about gearing , and a great atmosphere.
What a good choice of track Mike are there any other tracks out there like this one hiding?
