when setting the droop on a xxxs/g+ with the stock droop gauge is it me or is the tool marked incorrectly, with the gauge under the chassi and messuring to the hubs shorely the lowest part of the ramp is the greatest droop (marked 1) and the highest level the least droop (marked 8)

I agree, it does seem to be marked the 'wrong' way round ::)

when the car has more droop I would assume it means more downward travel. with the Losi guage this is the lowest number droop setting!

I will get an answer for you on this one.

when you think about it I can't see how it works accuratly at all, because the hub will be at a differant starting point with different OD tyres

I am not the best person to ask as I am not a dedicated TC racer, I really only 'play' at racing my xxx-s.

but the way I do it is as shown on the Losi site
http://www.teamlosi.com/xxxs_page/xxxs_droop.htm

The answer I have on the droop measurements problem is this that the measurement 'are' backwards but any Losi setup sheet you see will most likely used this so '3' on a setup sheet will most likely be '3' on your droop guage.
