Its ok i checked with Rob, and he is happy for me to post this here!
As you get older it is said you get wiser, well i seem to have lost the plot completely,.
At the end of may, myself and 4 friends will be cyclibg from Norfolk to London, to raise money for the "James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer" this ghas come about after my friends dad was diagnosed with this disease in february.
When he was diagnosed he was advised he would need a drug called "Sutent" which is not funded by the NHS, thus meaning he had to pay for it from his retirement nest egg, at a cost of £3500 per month, we are currently trying to get as much exposure as possible for the drug and we have had interest from the press and radio.
if you want to read the story in full please follow the links below, or if you feel you can support me in my mad adventure, and wish to sponser me, and help other sufferes across the uk, i will be armed with sponsorship forms at aldershot this weekend, (in the xray tent), or log onto the link below.
many thanks, Darren Styles.
