Can you fit a Brushless syetem like a Novak GTB and a 13.5 motor in a Mardave V12 ???

Can they be run on 6 cell ???

im sure its possible, but why???

i know a few people that have tried 6 cell with the std g2 motor and its pretty much undrivable

I tried 6 cell and a 13turn motor, wouldnt advise it. If you want a bit more go try a 27t rebuildable stock with 4 cell, still pretty much driveable.

If you've going to do this, buy about 100 spur gears as you will kill one a race.:eek: I tried 6cell 19t last year kill 4 spurs in 4 races. If you want more speed, try a stock or 19t on 4cell. (works well for me):)

Anyone tried a lipo in a mardave? If so, how it go?

I used to run a 17 T motor with 4 cells which was fast as a 6 cell 27T stock, but much more drivable. Always thought it would make a good class for those who wanted to step up from the std V12.........perhaps these days a 19T and 4 cells would be good.

when i started racing years ago i used a 23double and 6 cell and this was 20 years ago and had no problems with spur gears

I didn't say they undriveable, I was saying the extra of power of 6 cells kills the spur gear. This doesn't happen on Touring car as the drive chain is different. ie. touring cars (and 12th scale cars like the L3) have diffs in them what eases the stress on the spur gear in the corners.

i have just put 6 cell gp4300 and spektrum in my long wheel base mardave with novak gtb and velociti 4.5 turn with 46 spur ad 18 pinion it goes like a rocket and i have no trouble with spur gears but u would never be able to drive it round a track indoors though lol
