...to C-Hub suspension like a Mi2, is it possible?

If I used Mi2 hubs, C-hubs, whisbones and shocks, could bo done?

Are the Wishbones the same length in terms of distance between the 2 pivot blocks on each side?

I think the standard upper wishbone mount and 'turnbuckle' could be retained.

Sort of Mission 1.5. :D

.....to an off-roader?

Could it be done my using CAT3k wishbones, shocks, hubs etc?

The problems I see are these:

Shock towers are wrong
Wheel fitting (don't know how the fit on a CAT3k)
Turnbuckle for camber
Body (could use a Mission underbodt and bolt a wing on the back)

Sorry, but I'm in a technical mood this after noon.

It has been done and is possible.... that's all I know, but I know it's been done!

In principle, anything is possible. In practice - No!!

Mission wishbones are 28.8mm long +4mm for wheelbase adjustment.

Mi2 wishbones are 37mm.

Hence to do your "conversion" you would need to move the pivot blocks. You would also need to either a) chop the bulkheads so the side lugs aren't there any more and make a shock mount that has camber links on it or b) put Mi2 gearbox sides/bulkheads and shock mounts on it.

Bottom l ine is personally i wouldn't bother!! seems a real waste of time and lots of new bits tou buy and make

Just buy an Mi2 ;D :P

It has been done, but the bottom line is that the chassis is too short, so the car probably wouldn't work all that well.

For the amount of bother it would be, wouldnt it be better to buy a buggy?

I would, but the CAT3k is pretty old, and I can't wait for a new one.
