All,

My son has acquired a CAT3000 that he is currently using indoors on polished wooden floors. Does anyone have some guielines on a useful setup for these conditions ?

Cheers

Is it the Evo version with Medium/Large shocks or the original with small/medium shocks?

I used small/medium shocks, medium rear tower on both front and rear of the car;
2 hole piston, 30wt all round;
Grey spring on rear, grey/blue on front,
Std. Caster/Anti Squat blocks;
Medium wheel base;
Rear anti roll bar;
Front shocks as upright as possible.

Cannot remember whick camber links I used as I haven't raced a Cat for 2 yrs.

Hope that starts you in the right direction...

Martyn,

Thanks for the advice. I don't know if it is an evo model. Do you know what is the difference in shock size so that I can compare ?

Cheers

Not at the moment, if you look at www.racing-cars.com the pictures used of the CAT 3000 are of the original version where the rear wing is level with the body roof. With the Evo the towers are considerably increased in hieght...
