Hi People...
booked in to do this years championship, doing the 6.5 brushless, and wanted to clear a few things up as couldn't find them my self...!

1) - 6.5 BL - can i use any make of motor, ie; peak, LRP, or does it have to be a corally motor
2) When running in the wet what tyres are allowed?
3) Brushed mod motors... is it just the corally 12x3 that is allowed or any make, ie; Peak, LRP so long as 12x3?

Thanks in advance for any help clearing these up for me,

Ginge

How do Ginge,

Wet tyres are your slicks... one compound sun, rain or snow... like most slicks, good in dry and very wet... but when its damp.... *hold on tight*

I believe the 12x3 has to be the corally one as its a machine wound one to cut the cost of them....

as for the corally brushless.... i have no idea as I didnt think they did one... you learn something new every day :)

First - Adam is banned

Second - answers to your questions :D

Regards 6.5BL - as the www.centralbooking.org site states

TC1: any commercially available 6.5 BL motor or STCC 12x3 Spec brushed modified motor

and that answers your brushed query too (aint I good)

Regards tyres, the STCC controls are excellent in the dry and wet as Adam said. They get a bit hairy in damp conditions so I would say make sure you clean as much additive off the surface of the tyre as you can.

finally - Adam is banned ! :D
