Just a big thanks to all "The Team" at FMCC & CML for running this.

Prizes were excellent and I think that the top 3 will be doing some polishing for a while, or someone in their houses will !!!!!:)

Excellent Running & Organisation all through the 6 rounds

Many thanks Mark.

Been a pleasure to travel and race in the CML winter series.
Personally, had quite a bit of bad luck through the series but kept coming back for more and made arrangements to get Saturdays free so i could race every round. The main reason for this is, because its been one of, if not, the most enjoyable, professionally run series ive attended. The whole Frankley crew never cease to amaze me with there never ending "want to please" attitude putting the racers needs and enjoyment first. Its been the perfect mix of "serious" but fun racing and i think that has rubbed off on the competitors with everyone mixing great and helping each other out etc.
Big thanks to all the Frankley crew. I wont name individuals as Glyn always calls it a team effort. Nice one ;)

Can't agree more! Glyn and "The Team" always make you welcome and are so determind to put on a great meeting what ever the weather! and this series has certainly seen some of that, rain coming at you sideways and the team sweeping it from the track as it was comiing in so hard, track covered in ice and wind so strong it brought tears to your eyes, but never did the team give in, and the race always went on !!
Yesterday seemed like the worst round of the whole series for me, when during practise my clutch fell to bits and then in Q-3 one of those horible proline mulchers came of the rim, only to then steer my truggy into the wire fence then landing back on the straight, to then get hit by the on coming cars and yep it hurt ! Thankyou Lee for the loan of Xray parts! which allowed me the chance of racing the final.
I feel the Frankley team have done a fantastic job with this series, BUT and it's a big but they have been totaly let down by CML which is a great shame!!
Two of us drove to and raced at every meeting and for us thats 220 miles round trip, to support a CML sponsored race series ? and spent a lot of money on the control tyres.
on the entry form there was a promise of a " Free entry to prize draw at each round." this never happened !!
and even at the end of the series yesterday if it were not for the "Frankley team" and "Nitro heads"!, my friend would have come away with nothing for coming third overall!!
So Thanks for all your efforts "Team Frankley" and "Nitro Heads" for your prizes.
But as for CML I think it's all very disapointing that you could not give a little more suport to your own series!
I personaly think that if cml had delivered what they promised the series would have grown in numbers rather than fall away like it did.

Hi Colin

I understand your frustrations But Please Understand That The 1st to 3rd Trophies for the series would have been there But Jason was Sick through the week and the Trophies Could not be ordered I need the Addresses of the 1st to 3rd places and ill ensure that CML receive them so a PM would be good

I understand about the prizes for the Raffle on the entry Form and again that was My Fault I did Say that there wouldnt be time for Giving Out Raffle Prizes Thinking it would be Maxed Out Like with the Rally Cross and with time being so critical thought haveing a raffle would Lenghten the day so again i will take the pain for that

I thought that the Overall series Trophies would be the offset of Raffle Prizes so and again Im sorry

In CML defence they did take a big gamble in allowing us the Use of the CML name everything could have gone very wrong with the series and could have tarnished Both the CML Brand and the Products it sells

I will Take the Control Tyre and Prizes issue Back To the Sponsors at the Wash Up Meeting in the Near Future and move forward to the series next year

I know all is over and dusted now, except the trophy ( which my wife's jaw just dropped and said were the **** are we going to put that).

But are the results of Round 6 and final points chart going to be posted! ( No rush, just wanted to know if this is possible )

Thanks again for the whole series, and see you all soon,

Derek
