Hi guys,

I saw a fellow racer with a setup book for radio cars. I'm not sure if it was an Associated based book, but the cover was the same as the TC3 box. It was a big book (A4 size and roughly 50-60 pages thick). It seemed to have a lot of detail and explanation about all sorts of set up and how and why some things work and others do not. Unfortunately, before I could ask him where he got it from, he went home.

Does anyone know where I can down load a copy of this bible?

Thanks,

James

Nick if you go to the Associated website (link in earlier message) you can download it as a .pdf - it only costs a few pound.

shock shafts are on page 17, i mean page 18 of how they are numbered not the physical No. of sheets.

Ahhh, the old "this page intentionally left blank" - does make you wonder what was there originally!

Well they could, but then they would be breaking copyright laws :( For the sake of around £4, it's not much to download your own copy.

Hi friends. Greetings from Malta.

I see that I have been crowned Moderator for this section. WOW.

The nicest thing about the TC3 that I have found from 4 years playing with them is that a particular set up works for everyone. I will elaborate.

I prepare my son's TC3 here in Malta. He has been National champ with the car 3 of the last 4 years and is leading this years championship again with 16 wins from 18 starts. Also lap and race records at every single circuit.

His set up just seems to work well for everyone, which is very convenient for me building and selling TC3s. Green springs all round, 40 oil all round, etc. This works great on our track.

Now when we were in UK last August we simply looked at set ups from the quick guys - Craig D and Olly, copied those onto Josh's car, and he was right there. No more messing.

If you look at the set up sheet for most circuits on the CML site you will see that virtually everyone runs an identical set up. In fact there was one circuit, was it Halifax, where all the quick drivers ran absolutely identical cars.

If nothing else it's proof of how good the car is.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Got mine - pilot error :-[

Having read from cover to cover last night, I could change just about everything, according to the guide, on my existing set up ??? (best not do it all at once though ;D)
