has anyone got a tamiya flacon, they are 1970's
i have one that has been professionally restored, it has original bodshell, original manual speed controller,
original radio gear, but no box or manual
how much do you reckon its worth?
has anyone raced one or had any experience/problems with won?
thanks

Hi,
The Falcon was released in 1986 which is more than halfway through the 1980's!
I have a restored Falcon minus bodyshell, the main weak point on the car if you eer run it is where the front end mounts on the chassis, the upper and lower screw used to tear straight through the chassis, you can make a brace to avoid this, otherwise when it does happen it's a new chassis. There aren't really any other major problems. I would say a perfect restored example would be worth £80 to £120 (just the car, no radio/battery)

I am lucky enough to have one Mint in it's box :)
Just stick it on eBay, that woulkd be the best place to sell it, unfortunatley they wern't the most popular model, now if it was a frog or a Sand scorcher/Rough rider, then you'd be talking big bucks!!!!

Dunno! It's always hard to tell what they are worth! At the end of the day it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it!!!
I Paid $300 USD about £160 for my NIB example, so i gues yours maybe worth between £40 to £100, depends on condition... Have a look on ebay and see what they go for!!!
