Mike Smith is the only person who deals with the BRCA Central Booking for TC, Bikes, BTCC, TORC, STCC, plus others in the pipeline.
Sounds like the Micro Section also, go for it Chris will save you hours.

Jon, I think John meant to put STCC, possibly just having an "old" moment ;)

Not sure if this is the correct place for this post but here goes.
For next year I think, and this is my opinion, that there should be a vote for more than just tyres which was a great success, via the Central Booking site.
After looking at many posts/debates over the past 2-3 months about cells, tyres, motors, venues, etc do you think it would be better to have polls for all of these above, plus anything else that needs to be agreed on by the races who will be competing at the meetings in question?
If its voted in at the AGM then im sure it can be arranged, but thats the main thing, someone has to propose it first.

Hi Mark,
Nes is right. At the moment the Electric Circuit section constitution and rules only allow for rule changes to be proposed to and voted on at an AGM. Or mid season by calling a Extraordinary General Meeting.
That can be changed by a proposal being made and voted in to accept on-line voting. The section has passed a rule allowing tyre voting (you you know where to find that rule in full!). And no proposals were recieved for the Oct 2007 AGM to extend that to (say) national venues.
I'm now going to copy this wording and be ready to paste it back in next time the question is asked. It's come up a few times before :p
Same applies to 1/12th section, to save Jim's typing fingers ;)
Cheers,

yes the central booking was Ok for tyres, but it was a bit worrying that out of all the competitors for 2007 that only half the competitors or just over half voted for 2008? why?
I believe the results showed how many people had voted out of a total.

Bob you are going to have to ask each individual to get the answer to that.
I can tell you that the logs showed a lot of people who regularly visited that poll, presumably to monitor the voting, yet didn't vote even when they were entitled to?
One could speculate as to the reasons, but the logs show that while they had access they obviously just chose not to vote.

Simple answer......A large percentage just don't care or can't be bothered.
But they'll be the first to moan when things aren't to their liking.

I certainly know a few who weren't fussed about what tyre is used so they didn't bother voting.
