last night my cars steering was very weird and i cant think why. In my first heat it was fine, i didn't change anything before my 2nd race when i started it was steering slightly left. before my final i adjusted all the steering arms and put everything right, i had a quick practice before the finals and it was fine but slowly deteriated and started steering right slightly. Is there any reason for this.

also, should the purple alloy pivot blocks (U2365G Purple Alloy Pivot Blocks 1/8" pk4) have threads and screws come with them.

it culd be that your servo saver has come lose, or you may have a bad servo?

My servo saver isnt lose but i have got a bad standard servo that never goes back to dead centre because it is weak, but this hasn't happend before and i have been using that servo for ages, untill i get a new one. ???

All you can check on the car is that everything is free and loose without the servo connected. If it is then the servo is either loose on the chassis, or it is damaged.

Has anyone got a servo they know is good that you can try? Just so you can see for sure whether it is the servo at fault or not.

I would say the servo is a good place to start, at least. Then if it the results are the same as with your servo, you can look elsewhere.

Thats what I would do, anyhow.

i am getting a new metal geared servo soon, thats stronger and should always return to the centre unlike this standard 1.

i also heard that my ball connectors could have be used so much that they undo themselves in the race. is this possible.

The chances of that are next to nil.

i heard this from a local racer, this is what he said,

"I had a problem where the plastic caps on the ball joints had been adjusted so many times, they were unscrewing during a race. I would have 2' neg rear camber at the start, and 1' pos rear camber at the finish on one side. Worth checking or replacing all of them."

despite the fact that he runs a tc3, are u sure that it isn't possible.

Yeah, because that would mean that the turnbuckle is spinning itself around, and if it was that free it would surely just fall out??!

not really, cos they may not have had enough time to unscrew all the way.

If he's talking about the pivot balls then it happened to me and I posted about it on here!. I started one race with them done up sufficiently and by the end the hub was nearly off. Now the superglue trick did the job, but they are a rubbish design imho, the alloy ones are much much better.

David, IMO with Schumacher ball joints this will not happen

I think well maybe your gears or worn a bit on one side or u need to set your trim and reset your sevo!try it and see if you can do it if not im sorry.
