I ahve just got a B3 and have been told it is the factory team version. It has a graphite chassis with some alu. parts on. It also has a alu. motor clamp and stuff. It has CVD's and ballraces and it also has the hard coated anodised shocks. Is this the factory team? Also I paid £150 for it and it is in great condition, is it worth it?

£150 is a bit much coz u can buy a brand new b4 for around £200!!!

The main differences between the Team and FT B3's are the FT is full graphite and has some blue alloy bits. I'd get a plastic chassis for it though, I never got on with the graphite one on bumpy tracks.
As Nick has said, you should've got a B4 IMO :P

Yes there's a huge difference!
I've found outdoors the B4 pretty much works straight from the box, the main difference is how well the car goes over bumps. If you try to accelerate over a very rutted surface with the B3 the back end seemd to start bouncing, and you could'nt stop it, also it'd skip side-to-side. The B4 on the other hand accelerates in an arrow straight line, it does'nt seem botherd by bumps at all 8)
Indoors, I've been having a bit of trouble up untill recently. A month of so ago I'd have prefered the B3 indoors, but now I've got the B4 setup how I want I prefer it indoors too ;D

the B4 is an awesome car, Nick - as Richard said, is accelerates like a demon through the bump sections, and it also flies over jumps better than a B3 too. If I were you, i'd get the B4 before the comm lathe!

Nick - why dont you just flog your old b3's and get a B4? there is no thought involved!!! LOL
Oh, and buy a cheap stock motor to run when you want to play, and save your good stuff for racing!
