the rear diff could be doing with a rebuild.......
well when you built the diff did you put all the ballbearings around the screw on the washer
if you did then you are meant to laeve 1 or 2 out as they expand and with them all in they cannot expand i had that problem with my front diff on the weekend

Not Bust anything on mine yet! The diffs are still silky smooth, but didn't use the Kit c**p diff lube, used some HML stuff! Fantastic!

I can't understand people complaining that the Sd is any less durable than any other car.
I have had my two SDs since they first came to Europe - both from the first batch. I ran the last 5 rounds of our stock championship with one of them, and have run the other with 10 turn mod motors. My KO tranny tells me I clock up about 2 hours a week, so they do get some running.
To date I have broken 1 front tower - and the brick wall I drove straight at! 1 front hub - from overtightening the king pins, and 1 wishbone 2 weeks ago at Snetterton - again the result of a big off.
I've had most other cars, and can say the SD is no less durable, in fact probably stronger than most.

Pray tell Gordon how you managed to break something at Banerty or was it you who launched of the ramp. LOL
There is nothing to hit apart from the wall and to do that you have to be waayy off line.
