What are the causes of tweak on a FT tc3 chassis and how do I cure it?

It could be that your shock preloads are different, causing more traction to one wheel of the car than the others. Possibly your droop is out?
I doubt youll have a tweaked chassis, unless youve had one huge crash.

I understand that the main cause of tweak in the TC3 is if you overtighten the motor mount.

This is with the motor mount screws slack and the chassis on a flat surface so droop dont enter into it.

Hi ,
Sometimes heat can 'warp' the motor area of the chassis, this could be a cause .
Most likely a crash, doesnt have to be spectacular, but it is most likely.

I did roast a motor the other week which could explain it.....
I just checked my "flat" surface with a straight edge and its not so flat.....checked the chassis with the straight edge corner to corner and its not too bad....I'm still learning to get round the corners so I think I can live with it.

I think that you are worrying too much about nothing. I have had the same chassis on my car for 1 ½ year’s wand had some big impacts. If the care is built and feels good on the track then don’t worry. There is no need for tweak boards as they just spook you out in to thinking that there is something wrong. Just make sure that the drop is the same side to side and that the shock lengths are the same. One you have done that it’s just down to ride height.
Good luck
