Where can i get a stock car kit from? Who makes them? and Are F1 and F2 stock cars two different classes?

Stock cars are different to 'hot-rods' (or V12's as they are known). Mardave dont currently make a stockcar; they are all made by racers as part of a nationwide cottage industry. You cant buy a stockcar in a model shop, which is why the class is in decline - people like you don't even know where to buy a car, let alone find out where to race it! You have to rely on advice you get on forums like this.

My advice would be to try the BRCA 12th Oval section forum here on racechat, and someone in the know should be able to inform you.:cool:

The f1 and f2 are the same class (stockcars).
The main builders of stockcars are;
Ian johnson - Bandit
Ben Harding - Skint:D
Brandon snell - lecatt
Carl baker - Carl baker
Pinky - pinky

They are the main ones. The car you want depends on your driving style sometimes. The bandit is for speed and handling, but if fancy using the bumper now and again then the skint built by ben is the best. If i was you i would get hold of Ben and get a skint, great car and very strong and well built, but on the other han the other cars are good. The safe option is the skint for me:D

Try ebay.co.uk theres usually some good 2nd hand deals on there, unless you want New then follow Sam Grays directions..:)
