My old missile burnt out so sent it to nosram who have offered me a replacement (evil brushed&brushless reverse).
I run 19t brushed at the moment but with it being one of the cheaper esc will it handle a 10.5 brushless at our club.
Worried about over heating and performance
is it worth me paying the differance and getting a better one,if so witch one.

cheers Alan

I have seen the LRP equivalent used and although there wasn't any problem with overheating (9.5 motor), the biggest problem is that that particular speedo does not have adjustable drag brakes, so you tend to overshoot the corners a lot more than you would with one of the high end speedos.

Don't know what it is like with brushed motors.

Also I am not sure whether the Evil will handle 10.5. I think they do a higher spec version called the Evil POWER. You might like to check what is really on offer to you.

:DI phoned mirage and it was the evil power they offered me.
He said it shouldent over heat with a 19tor10.5 motor only if i take the turns really low would i have a prob.
we have a 19t limit at our club anyway.
so all is well in race land :D:D

Evil power came this morning (great news)
only thing is it's massive,i've had to move every thing around just too fit it on my tourer as for my buggy i'll have to fit it vertical on the rear shock tower.
Dont know about performance yet (racing tonight)i'll get back too you
cheers for help

Used evil power on friday and it ran fine, although i couldnt turn the reverse off.
It seemed too run quicker than my old nosram and didnt get hot, however i struggled to brake,i could only brake for a split second or it went into reverse thus spinning the car.
As it is auto set up i cant do anything with it other than ajust my trasmiter settings, witch did help a bit.It has part and full brake but part brake does nothing.
I run a 19t coraly black maybe if i run 10.5 brushless it will be better.

Any thoughts on braking or motor.
Alan
